Dark Arts first launched in 2005 as a non-profit directory and networking site.

In 2009 Dark Arts became a registered alternative model agency, providing a professional yet non-commercial service.

Dark Arts represents alternative models, photographers, stylists, and artists.
Our members are all UK residents.

Dark Arts was founded by Asha Tank; an experienced alternative model, performer and photographer.
After becoming increasingly tired of appearing on numerous listing sites and subsequently not being offered much in the way of real work, Asha decided it was about time to set up a company where everyone in the industry could come together in one place – specifically aimed at the UK alternative market... a one-stop-shop for alternative talent.

Dark Arts is managed by an organised, well-informed team who are experienced and part of the alternative scene. We aim to provide a personal and friendly service.

Dark Arts is NOT a directory, networking or ‘listing site'.
We are not a pay-to-view alternative 'model' site, or an adult site where girls can post pinup pictures.

Applications are considered very carefully and on an individual basis. We accept both male and female models.
Applicants MUST reflect a genuine desire to pursue work in their fields. We pride ourselves in listing reliable, punctual and professional members.

We do not accept low quality images, or members without an established portfolio.

We seek models who have working experience - not just photoshoots, but paid work for clothing companies, shows and events, or published magazine work.
We only represent those we feel we can find work for.

To keep our models safe, we take personal privacy very seriously. All personal information is treated with discretion.
Contact information and email adresses will never be shared with third parties without the permission of our members.

We do not accept members under the age of 18.
We do not accept members who reside outside the United Kingdom.

We do not supply models for porn.


Our models have the right to turn down any job if they think it doesn't suit them - but we will always reply to booking enquiries as soon as possible.
