Dark Arts is directory service for alternative models, performers, extras, photographers, stylists and artists in the UK.

Aiming to actively seek work for our members, Dark Arts is not strictly an ‘agency' in the traditional sense but the only service of its kind run as a non-profit organisation.
Dark Arts does not charge finders fees or commission on bookings.

Dark Arts is run and owned by site member Asha with help from a small team of moderators. Asha is an experienced alternative model, performer, photographer and stylist (amongst many other things!)
This is a one-woman show, and not one of those sites actually backed by a money guzzling corporation.

After becoming increasingly tired of listing on various other sites and subsequently not being offered much in the way of real work, Asha decided it was about time to set up a company where everyone in the industry could come together in one place – specifically aimed at the UK alternative market.

Dark Arts' only profit comes from merchandise sales through the Dark Arts shop, and a small one-off registration fee of £10 (not applicable to applicants wishing to list SOLELY as extras or stylists).
This income is used solely to keep the site running – to pay for domain registration fees, hosting fees, and maintenance. Any additional income is used for advertising Dark Arts and making further improvements to the site and service.

This not ‘another listing site'. Applications are considered very carefully and on an individual basis. Unlike some sites we accept both male and female applicants.
Applicants MUST reflect a genuine desire to pursue work in their fields. We pride ourselves in listing reliable, punctual and professional members.

We do not accept low quality images, and subsequently all image uploads are approved by moderators.
