XPO Promo - Camden

On Friday 28th September somebody had the great idea to take 3 motorbikes, 4 models, and a motley collection of bikers & deranged PR people into Central London to take some photos, hand out some flyers and generally get the Xpo noticed. Unfortunately for all concerned, the English weather decided to make merry at our carefully laid plans and rain on us... and rain on us... and rain on us....

Below are the first set of images from the shoot, all taken by the very brave Andy of Gothic Image and featuring Dark Arts models Sophia Landi, Roswell Ivory, and Penny B.

Punkyfresh Artwork

Dark Arts artist Roggeroo was specially commissioned by US-based hair stylist Gina of www.punkyfresh.com to produce a more polished vector illustration of herself. The new artwork is stunning and is soon to appear on her website homepage.

Dark Arts performer Girl Peculiar was on Tim Shaw's Asylum tonight - she makes costumes from dolls, decks of cards and other random objects, and also sings, dances and dresses as an elf to work in Finland!

Dark Arts performer Sin was a guest on Tim Shaw's Asylum with her troupe the Inko Dancers.
The girls showed off their frontbreak choreography skills and even taught the show's official transvestite Wayne some new moves!



Tokyo Royale
July 2007
Dark Arts model Kira Kreuger is also the brains behind Tokyo Royale - some of you may have seen the new profile in our stylists section recently.
The Tokyo Royale boutique can be found at Affleck's Palace in Manchester and specialises in Japanese styles, Lolita designs and more.

Kira has been very busy with promoting the clothing company, and has made use of Dark Arts photographer Admirion to shoot models Ivy Midsomer and Necromantis for the 2006 catalogue. Dark Arts model Kerosene was also responsible for inspiring Kira to create plus sized clothing as part of her range.
Admirion's images of Ivy Midsomer and Hexabelle have also appeared in Bubblegum Slut (issue 24) alongside a 2 page interview with Kira on Tokyo Royale.
A 2 page Tokyo Royale interview was also featured in Norwegian gothic magazine Rimfrost 13 with images of Kira by Admirion, and Necromantis by Richard Milne.

Further Dark Arts models have now been selected for the 2007 catalogue update including Lolita Trash, Assisted Suicide and Sirensong. The models also represented Tokyo Royale at Manchesters ‘STRUT’ Fashion on March 1st 2007.

Look out for a Tokyo Royale covershot on issue 23 of Kaleidoscope Magazine! It also includes a 2 page interview with Kira and images of Necromantis and Lolita Trash.

A number of Dark Arts members are featured in the latest issue of Mol Smith’s magazine The Serpent.

Model Kira Kreuger has a double page spread, as does photographer Admirion. Photographer Draken can be seen across three pages, and digital artist/photographer Samurai_B has a whopping six page feature!!

Altfashion.co.uk launches it’s very own printed magazine – catering for all alternative genres and individuals and covering a broad range of topics… from makeup and jewellery, to features of UK cities and their alternative shops.

The very first issue has our very own Kandy Kane modelling for the cover, photography by Dark Arts. Many thanks to photographer Richard Battye for the use of his lovely studio.

Nightshade Clothing

The results of our collaboration with Nightshade Clothing can be seen here, a photo shoot of their new line featuring Dark Arts models Samara, Amaranth and Fracture.
These models dragged themselves across London to be ready to start at 9am on a Sunday morning. Complete professionals – and you’d never guess it was an overcast day!

Specialising in modern Victorian garments, Nightshade’s collection is available online from their EBay shop and the Nightshade website (when they have the energy to update it!!

Dark Arts’ photography services were commissioned to photograph members Infest and Tragic Wrath modelling Alienskin Clothing.

Spiral Direct
February 2006

Spiral Direct recently enlisted the help of Dark Arts photographer Anarky to photograph models for their 2006 catalogue. Dark Arts models Amalthea & Christiane were chosen from many applicants. Both ladies were described as professional and friendly, and Amalthea has even returned for a second shoot since.



Pro-Jekt Music Video
20th Jaunary, 2006

Dark gothic band Pro-jekt have just concluded shooting for their latest music video. Described as a "spanking slow-motion" cover of ABBA's classic "S.O.S", the video was shot in the depths of Hampshire.

Filmed and directed by David Kenny of Shashmedia, the video also featured our very own model/performer Ereshkigal.
Our thanks go out to all the members of Pro-jekt, Shashmedia and of course Ereshkigal for a job well done. Although it rained on the day she endured the cold, and applied the band's makeup as well as her own! A real trooper on all accounts.

Pimp Clothing

Madame Le Goth
January 2006

As part of an ongoing project with Madame Le Goth – Dark Arts and Devolution Magazine conducted a model call to find both male and female models to showcase Madame Le Goth clothing.
Fifteen models were chosen in total, including many Dark Arts models.
