These rules apply to every area of Dark Arts (comments, messages, forum)

[1] No spam. We will not tolerate anyone using Dark Arts as a hiring tool for other websites. Spamming unsolicited advertisements anywhere on Dark Arts will get you banned – other companies are respectful enough to pay for advertising.

[2] Absolutely no verbal abuse or threats towards other members. Personal attacks will not be tolerated on Dark Arts. Mutual respect and civilized conversation is the required norm. Please keep swearing and bad language to a minimum.

[3] No pornography whatsoever! No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material. This includes linking to such material. Unlike some other sites, we ARE fine with bare nipples, genitalia and horror/gore… as long as such images are of an ARTISTIC nature. Moderator's judgment applies here.

[4] Observe all COPYRIGHT LAWS when posting copyrighted material. If the material belongs to someone else, credit them. If we discover you falsely using someone else's images to represent yourself, we will remove you from the site immediately.

[5] This is not a dating website! Do not join Dark Arts unless you are involved in the industry and have a desire to find work. If you look like you do not belong, you will most likely not even get through the application process. And if you are in the industry, please keep it professional – if we receive any negative feedback about your conduct you may not be offered any work in future and risk your Dark Arts membership.

[6] Do not post personal information (i.e. real name, addresses, phone numbers, passwords, PIN numbers) or any other information considered private without the express permission of the individual involved. You must respect the privacy of other members.
Please do not post links to your own personal websites – this is for your own safety and allows us to screen any legitimate offers of work for you.
However, web links are fine on the forum as it is strictly members only.

[7] Post to the forum that is most appropriate for your topic. Threads incorrectly placed will be moved or locked.

[8] No SHOUTING (posting in capital letters). It's hard to read, highly annoying and just plain rude.

Breaking any of the above listed rules can result in the loss of privileges and possible loss of your account. Dark Arts also reserves the right to ban any user, at any time, and for any reason.

Dark Arts takes no responsibility for the content of any of the messages posted on the website or the authenticity of its authors.
